Watch the photographs of the first day of Gujarat government’s seventh Chintan Shibir being held at Shanku Water park near Mahesana. It is evident that the theme of this Chintan Shibir is “One team, one vision, one mission.”

Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi today insisted that all the government officials should work with a team spirit and with one common vision and mission. Synergy of this Team Gujarat, he said, will surely give shape to the dreams of people of Gujarat. Shri Modi was speaking to some 172 invitees including council ministers, senior secretaries, departmental heads and IAS and IPS officers, at the opening session of the 7th Chintan Shibir, held at Shankuz Water Resource near Mahesana.

Talking about the decentralization of administrative power, Chief Minister said the approach of ‘Taluka Sarkar’ will help Team Gujarat to easily tackle the problems at taluka level. With all 225 talukas of Gujarat getting rid of one problem, will help government to remove 225 problems of taulkas in a year, he said.

‘Main Nahi Hum’ (Not ‘I’, but ‘We’): One team: One Vision: One Mission is the thesis of the Chitan Shibir this year. People holding the reins of Gujarat administration will group-discuss and deliberate over six different subjects at this retreat during February 3 to 6.

Lauding the benefits of teamwork, Shri Modi said teams at district level and taluka level should work joining hand, having same vision and mission and the government should make a new framework for this new pattern of working.

Chief Minister also expressed the need to deliberate over the development benefits that the present generation can extend to the next one.

Chief Secretary Shri A.K.Joti gave details of various pro-people schemes and programmes of the state government while Mahesana Collector Shri Ajay Bhadu delivered the welcome address on the occasion.
