Modi launches a book on road safety for 3 million students
Gandhinagar, 15 February, 2011
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi on Monday launched a book ‘new generation, new pledge: Safe roads’ in Gandhiangar.
State’s Transport department has published this book through Text book authority for three million students of standard eight to twelve of state schools.
Under Vanche Gujarat movement, the question bank C.D. for computer test of driving licence has been prepared in Gujarati and English. This CD will be installed in computers of all primary and secondary schools of the state. Also it will be installed in computers of Gram Panchayats under E-Gram scheme.
