By-poll on working day was Congress-EC conspiracy,alleges Bhatt

Bhushan Bhatt, BJP’s winning candidate in Khadia by-poll today thanked the people of Khadia for electing him. Bhatt dedicated his victory to his late father Shri Ashok Bhatt and Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi.

Bhatt at the same time didn’t miss this opportunity to attack rival Congress party. He took the Election Commission also in his stride.

“It seems there was fixing between Congress party and central election commission thanks to which the by-poll of Khadia was held on working day and not Sunday. Khadia is thickly populated area of poor and middle class people who join their work in the morning, but the EC gave election on Monday instead of Sunday. This was Congress’s conspiracy to ensure low turnout which could give benefit to its candidate, however the people of Khadia have slapped them even in this condition,” said Bhushan Bhatt.

Bhatt has been victorious in Khadia by-poll by margin of 2473 votes.
