Defeated Khadia candidate cries about ‘misuse of state machinery’

After BJP’s victory in Khadia by-poll, Congress candidate Jagat Shukla in his first interview alleged that ‘misuse of state machinery’ was responsible for his defeat. Shukla anyway thanked the people of Khadia and added that some shortcomings could be there on his part of campaign, but that would be corrected in next election.

When asked to react on this allegation, BJP’s victorious candidate Bhushan Bhatt replied that, “as he is my rival candidate, he would definitely give reasons for his defeat, but you should go to public and ask them what kinds of tactics the Congress party put in practice during the course of campaign.”
