Surat Civil hospital adds Music to treatment

Gujarat’s Surat based government civil hospital is now equipped with central music system. All the wards barring ‘J’ and ‘G’ block of the hospital have new presence of speakers that relay music to “keep patients and staff in good mood”.
The Music system is operated from ART center of the hospital. According to Superintendent Dr. Vadel, the system has been put in operation since Shivratri. “The same system will be useful for general announcement by switching it over to public address system mode,” he added.
