Ahmedabad airport to be connected with Gujarat cities through VOLVO buses

Gujarat State Transport Corporation will operate seven super-comfortable A.C. VOLVO buses to connect Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel international airport to major cities of Gujarat.

The new service will start from 12 March with buses for Vadodara, Surat and Jamnagar straight from the airport of Ahmedabad.

Simultaneously the Gujarat S.T. will also be starting VOLVO buses to Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bhuj and Jamnagar from Ahmedabad’s Gita Mandir main S.T. stand. VOLVO buses owned by private players, will be operated by S.T.department. While conductor in such buses will be from S.T. department, driver will be employed by owner of the bus.

VOLVO buses will be equipped with common TV, DVD player and AC and seat-wise plug for laptop and mobile charger.

Ticket price is estimated at around Rs. 1.25 per kilometer.

Ahmedabad airport to Jamnagar at 6.30 am daily via stoppages at Gita Mandir(Ahmedabad), Paldi(Ahmedabad), Iskcon(Ahmedabad), Sarkhej(Ahmedabad), Chotila Rajkot and Dhrol.

Ahmedabad airport to Vadodara at 9.00 pm daily via stoppages at Sarangpur, Gita Mandir, Express way, and Amit Nagar circle.

S.T. station to Surat: 8.00 am
S.T. station to Vadodara: 6.00, 7.30, 12.30, 17.30
S.T. station to Rajkot: 6.00, 14,00, 17.00, 23.00
S.T. station to Bhuj: 13.00
