‘Gaali khaakar pet bharta to doso kilo ka hota’:Modi

During the question answer round in ‘India Today conclave’ today when anchor Ajay Kumar commented on Modi’s changing clothing style and asked him a related question, Modi replied: “This Modi Kurta that I am wearing has become a brand, and it is available as ‘Modi kurta’ even in north America now. When I was responsible for party’s work in Himachal Pradesh, I used to wear Kurta Payjama, but then the people in Himachal Pradesh would ask me ‘Modiji why are you in night-dress all the time?’ So I started wearing winter cloths in Himachal. When I came to Gujarat, I brought my that collection here, and I wear such cloths in Gujarat in winter time.”

To this the anchor said: “So you are physically so fit that old cloths are still suitable for your body even today”.

Reacting to anchor’s remark Modi further said: “Gaali khaakar pet bharta to doso kilo kaa ho jaataa”
( I could be worth 200 kg. if I could eat all curses thrown at me in all these years)

There was a loud laughter in the auditorium.

Anchor Ajay Kumar concluded by saying that if curses could be eaten so many people in this auditorium could be worth 200 kg weight.
