“I agreed to come here with condition that I would be served Gujarati food”

Bollywood film-star Abhishek Bachchan inaugurated a new four-screen multiplex in Gujarat’s second largest Surat city on Friday.

Dressed in white shirt and blue jeans, Abhishek’s visit attracted crowds of fans which caused traffic jam on ring road. Police had to use lathis to control the crowds gathered for a glimpse of Abhishek Bachchan.

Kinnari was earlier a single screen film theatre and first film released in this theatre in 1972 was Jaya Bhaduri acted Upahar. Today when Kinnari has been turned into a full scale multiplex, the first film releasing is Jaya Bhaduri(Bachchan)’s son Abhishek Bachchan’s just released ‘Game’. When Abhishek was told this, he was amazed. He said he would tell this to his mother.

When asked about whether he would like to give any idea to Indian cricket team for victory in world cup, Abhishek replied : “The team that has Sachin, needs no idea.” Abhishek added that the Indian cricket team has already celebrated Diwali by defeating Pakistan, now the team will celebrate Dussehra after defeating Lanka.

Abhishek revealed that he agreed to come to Surat only on one condition that he would be catered Gujarati food.

Replying a question threw at him that when they(Abhi and Ash)are going to be three out of two, Abhishek said whenever God would wish, we will be three out of two.
