One of the best initiatives of Gujarat govt, Mega Job Fair kicks off

Gujarat’s second largest and Asia’s one of the fastest developing city Surat is today hosting a mega job fair with participation of more than 100 job-donor companies, and thousands of job seeking youths from all over south Gujarat.

According to Education Secretary Shri Hasmukh Adhia about 16,000 job seeking youths are invited to the fair through SMS and invitation letter through educational institutions and 92 industrial, business and commerce associations. Those not invited to the fair also can attend it by just walking in. The fair is not limited to any geography, that means any youth in 18-30 age group with minimum education of S.S.C from any corner of the state can come.

Two-day long mega job fair is beginning today at Surat Indoor stadium at 10.00 am. It is expected to be attended by about 8,000 job seeking youths. On 20th, the mega job fair will be held at Kadodara with expected participation of another 8,000 youths. According to district authority involved in organizing this mega job fair, total participants could be well around 20,000.

Government of Gujarat has organized this fair under Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s favorite ‘Gyan Shakti’ theme.

Job seekers are asked to walk into mega job fair with their qualification certificate, experience certificate, and two copies of bio data.
