Modi to inaugurate ‘Aapno Taluko Vibrant Taluko’ at Dabhoi
Vadodara, 27 April, 2011
Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi will open ‘Aapno Taluka Vibrant Taluko(ATVT)’ project on 28 April at central Gujarat’s Dabhoi town in Vadodara district.
According to Shri Vijay Nehra, Collector, Vadodara district, ATVT project will address Taluka level issues at Taluka level itself through Taluka Seva Sadan office in each Taluka.
Nehra said Dabhoi programme will be telecast live at 51 Taluka centres across the state where ATVT project will be kicked off parallely.
Nehra claimed that Taluka Seva Sadan in Dabhoi is the most modern Taluka office in India from where all Taluka related issues are to be addressed, and all information about the schemes of state and central government will be available at one stop.
In order to empower people locally to guide the growth process, the State Government has initiated Taluka Sarkar – a sub district citizen-centric approach where governance and development is activated at the grass root level. Every Taluka in Gujarat will be empowered and self sustaining to provide a local platform for driving double digit growth and social development.
Gujarat government has allocated Rs. 600 crore for ATVT in this financial year budget.
