Gujarat govt announces rebate on Kharif crop seed packet

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi today announced rebate on seed packet prices for monsoon crops.
While launching the statewide Krushi Mahotsav of this year near Himmatnagar in North Gujarat, Shri Modi announced rebate of Rs. 100 on each BT cotton seeds packet.
The Chief Minister announced 10% rebate on Hybrid Castor seeds packet price and also announced 5% discount on seed packet of other certified monsoon crops such as Tuver, Paddy, Soybean, Til, Udad and Mung.
Shri Modi announced that benefit of this scheme will be available in village only at the time of arrival of Krushi rath there. It was also announced that each farmer will get benefit of this scheme maximum on two packets.
