“You feel Modi is more dangerous than Osama”: Gadkari tells I.E. journalists
New Delhi, 8 April, 2011

BJP’s national President Shri Nitin Gadkari while speaking with Indian Express edit staff in New Delhi said that he has got evidence on vindictive and biased approach to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi by judiciary. Gadkari declined to comment further on this issue, but said he has evidence and will publish it at proper time.
Gadkari also told Indian Express reporters that they feel Narendra Modi is more dangerous than Osama Bin Laden.
In Indian Express’s Idea Exchange interaction when one reporter threw a question on Narendra Modi, Shri Gadkari replied:”There is a biased approach towards the Modi government and the BJP government in Gujarat. If anyone speaks up for him, he is attacked by the English media. You feel Narendra Modi is more dangerous than Osama Bin Laden. CBI is the Congress Bureau of Investigation. It is manipulated by the Congress, they want to defeat BJP in Gujarat. It is difficult for them, politically, that’s why they have started creating problems with the defamation of Narendra Modi and BJP government. We are not going to bother about it, we will fight it. It is very painful for me that in a democratic society, sections of the media, the CBI, people who are involved in the judiciary – have a vindictive and biased approach. This is not good for the democracy.”
On this, when one reporter Dilip Bobb asked Gadkari: “Are you saying the Supreme Court is also part of this?” Gadkari replied, “I don’t want to make any comments on this but I have got evidence and when the time comes, I will publish it. Vindictive politics are making an honest person a culprit. Go to Gujarat now and ask the minorities what their impression of the Gujarat government is. The impression in Mumbai, Delhi or in the English media is very different from the ground reality.”
