When asked while he is here to do business with Gujarat, when he is going to do business with the Gujarat CM? Timothy replied: “As I have done all over India the president of the US has asked me to connect to the people of india. He gave me very good advise at the white house couple of years ago, he said do not only focus on PMs and member of parliaments, and business leaders and CEOs, and CMs. Connect to the hearts an minds of the people, the ‘aam admi’, the regular men and women of India.”

“I have reached out in my travels in the last two years, to Jammu and kashmir in North, Chennai in south, Sunderbans in Assam and now to the west Rajasthan and Gujarat. It is the people most important to us to connect to,” he added.
