Ahmedabad experiences pre-monsoon shower with strong winds

The city of Ahmedabad and other parts of Gujarat today witnessed a round of shower with strong winds.
At around 5.00 pm the city of Ahmedabad witnessed shower that was heavy in nature for a while with strong winds.
This has given some respite to the city that was badly hit by over 40 degree temperature.
Shower was experienced in Surat, Amreli, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Porbandar, Gandhinagar and other parts of Saurashtra, south and central Gujarat.
According to meteorological department, today’s shower was pre-monsoon one.
