Low pressure system in Arabian Sea, Keila under close watch
Ahmedabad, 7 June, 2011

Presented is the satellite picture of low pressure system built in Arabian sea, not much far from Gujarat coast. This low pressure system may or may not bring Keila cyclone. It’s not clear at this point of time that where the cyclone will strike, or whether it would strike at all or not. It may divert its route to Oman, or may go to Pakistan coast too, or it may fizzle out within the sea. While fishermen in Gujarat are alerted not to venture into the sea, the state administration has also alerted district collectors of coastal Gujarat. However at this time there’s no concrete warning, and Keila is under close watch of the departments concerned.
