One year jail to Vadodara’s stand-up comedian Parag Kansara

Local court in Vadodara has ordred one year jail sentence to television’s laughter challenge show season-1 fame stand-up comedian Parag Kansara and his wife for violation of traffic rules.
Kansara who lives in Angan duplex in Gorva area of Vadoara was driving a Maruti car with his wife Minaben sitting next to him on 7 mach 2007 when traffic constable Narsingh Himabhai stopped his car pointing out that Parag was not wearing sit belt. When constable asked Parag to pay Rs 100 fine, Kansara reportedly refused to pay initially. However after prompted strictly he paid fine but used fake name ‘Maganbhai C Patel’ in the slip. Meanwhile in the course of heated argument between Kansaras and constable, Parag’s wife reportedly slapped the constable and threatened to break his skull. The constable later filed police complaint against Kansaras. The decision in this case arrived yesterday in local court of Vadodara.
