You have quality to become Congress leader:Modi told a child
Bhavnagar, 17 June, 2011

Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Narendra Modi was in completely different mood when he was with primary school children yesterday in Bhavnagar’s Varal village.
Modi ordered black cat commandos securing him to step down from the stage when he found children uncomfortable due to their presence.
After completing his speech, Modi distributed school bags and toffees to children. When Modi gave away toffee to one child and sought it back with smile on his face, a little child refused Modi’s demand. Modi couldn’t stop laughing and told that child that he had quality suitable to become a Congress leader.
Chief Minister Narendra Modi was weighed in books in this event. There were 18 packets of books to weigh Mr. Modi. Each packet was worth five kg. The Chief Minister was weighed by putting 90-95 kg books. The books were donated to Shihor taluka’s library later on.
Chief Minister Narendra Modi narrated Panchatantra’s fox story to the children during his conversation. Though scheduled programme of mixing with kids was between 10:30 and 12:00, Shri Modi couldn’t leave it soon as he enjoyed it, and he actually continued to mix with the kids till 1:30 pm.
Bhavnagar Collector was correct when he noticed and said, “we have always seen Chief Minister Narendra Modi in serious mood , but when he was communicating with primary school children, we saw completely new aspect of his personality.”
