Ahmadiyya community leader, Bhadiyad Urs committee visit Modi

Ahmadiyya community’s General Secretary in India Shri Zahir Ahmed Khadim today visited Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi. The meeting was courtesy call according to an official statement. Zakir Khadim hailed Modi for peace, progress and development politics.
In another development, a delegation of Bhadiad Urs Committee paid a courtesy call on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi here today and briefed him about the preparations for the up and coming Urs in the Ahmedabad district, considered to be the biggest one after that in Ajmer Sharif.
Mr. Modi expressed his grief and sorrow at the recent fatal accident of Urs pilgrims. He also assured of all possible assistance as suggested by the Mehboob Shah Bukhari Dargah Committee for holding the Urs.
The delegation included Mr. Patubha Parmar and vice-president Ismailbhai and other office-bearers.
