Gujarat govt’s new plane to have more seats,more speed at more height

There’s buzz in Gandhinagar that the Gujarat government has started procedure to buy a new plane worth nearly Rs 20-26 crores. presently the Gujarat government possesses a helicopter and a small jet with a seating capacity of 7-8 people. The jet plane does not have the basic facility of a washroom/toilet. It is capable to fly at a height of maximum 28,000 feet and therefore it takes two and half hours to travel between Ahmedabad and Delhi. Moreover when a convoy of more than 7-8 high-profile delegates has to travel, the government has to rely on the corporate houses for their plane.
On the other hand, according to sources the new airplane that the government intends to buy will have a seating capacity of 18-20 passengers. It would be able to fly at a height of 32,000 feet and therefore it would be speedier. The distance between Ahmedabad and Delhi would be completed in the duration of 1- 1/2 hours using the new plane.
