I’m there for Vaghela, he will be placed properly at proper time:Ahmed Patel

Speaking to reporters at Gujarat Congress Head Quarter in Ahmedabad on Monday, Shri Ahmed Patel, political secretary to Congress President Sonia Gandhi said that Shankersinh Vaghela will be placed somewhere at proper time.

To a question on Shankersinh Vaghela’s unhappiness over alleged neglect in the party, Shri Ahmed Patel said, “Shankersinhji is senior leader in Gujarat and his services will be sought, but when and how that I can’t say at this time. But I am for him to see that, and there’s no doubt.”

It should be mentioned here that Vaghela was eying nomination from the party on Rajya Sabha seat, however the party decided to renominate Ahmed Patel.

Vaghela was today sitting with Ahmed Patel when Patel visited leader of the opposition Shri Shaktisinh Gohil’s house in Gandhinagar. Vaghela also remained present when Patel filed nomination in Gandhinagar.

When reporters asked Ahmed Patel about Vaghela’s unhappiness over Patel’s renomination, Patel replied “I met Vaghela and I didn’t feel like that, but you people might be knowing better than me.”

Patel also met former Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Madhavsinh Solanki in Gandhinagar.
