A stamp released by Pakistan govt

There’s one Gujarati person whose birth century is celebrated by Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, and by Islamic republic of Pakistan also.

While Narendra Modi invites this Surat-born and Mumbai based Gujarati to celebrate his 100th birthday in Gujarat, the neighboring nation Pakistan launches a stamp ticket to mark his 100th birthday with same spirit.

This Gujarati is Bohra community’s religious head Syedna Saheb.

Pakistan has recently released 500,000 postal stamps marking 100th birthday of Syena saheb. The stamps represent the image of Bohra community’s Baab-i-Hatimi at Aljameatus Saifiya situated in North Nazimabad, which actually represents the 1000-year-old architectural design from the Fatimid period in Egypt. The stamps would be showcased in a museum in Mumbai, and there’s great amount of eagerness among Bohras to possess such stamp earliest at whatever price.

In Gujarat’s Surat where Syedna saheb was born, the Bohra community people are planning to urge the Indian government to issue a stamp ticket on Syedna. Kaisar Morkas, a leader of the Bohra community in Surat who received a stamp from someone of his community from Pakistan, stated that because Syedna Saheb was born in Surat and has an Indian ethnicity the Indian government should think in this context. He further said that the Indian government should venture something that outstands Pakistan’s creation. The Bohra community is likely to request the Indian Government in this regard in writing soon.
