Raj Thackeray visits Riverfront,BRTS,Lake front,Patang(Video)

On the second day of his Gujarat visit, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Chief Raj Thackeray visited various development projects in Ahmedabad. Thackeray started his study tour in Ahmedabad by visiting Sabarmati river front development project. The next stop was BRTS control room at Usmanpura office of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. From here, Raj went to University convention hall road and boarded Bus Rapid Transit System(BRTS) bus. His BRTS journey ended at Kankaria lake front. Raj boarded mini train on the lake front and then visited the Kids city. This is a place where an entire complex is run by children. Be it 108 ambulance service, or fire brigade or radio station or restaurant – everything is operated by children. Raj drove the car himself while leaving the Kankaria lake front. During his day-trip, Raj took lunch at Patang revolving restaurant which is the highest place in Ahmedabad. Ahmnedabad Municipal Corporation’s Deputy Commissioner Captain Mahajan accompanied Raj Thackeray throughout the visit. Mahajan speaks Marathi, and therefore Raj was comfortable interacting with him. At Kids city, when media persons sought Raj’s remark, he refused(may be because his yesterday’s remark that Maharashtra is no. 1, his selection of Hindi as language, and refusal of spinning charkha created some controversy). Raj’s last stop in the day was Tata Motors Nano car plant near Sanand on Thursday(which is not covered in the video above)
