South Australia premier Mike Rann in Gujarat to boost trade(Photos)

A 10-member high-level Australian delegation led by South Australia Premier Mike Rann is visiting Gujarat. The delegation comprises Australian government functionaries and a trade official.

Premier Mike Rann along with a business delegation called on Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and discussed various issues related to business development.Rann expressed interest in partnering with Gujarat especially in the areas of ship building, coast development, manufacturing of defence equipment and human resource development.Rann showed interest in the State’s initiatives in tackling the issues of environment especially the state’s initiatives in the field of solar energy.He also discussed the possibilities of partnering with the state in the area of environment protection and solar energy, the release said.
