Lokayukta row:both houses adjourned,Advani meets Pranab

Senior BJP leader and Gujarat MP Shri Lal Krishna Advani today met powerful central minister Pranab Mukherjee in the wake of the controversy over the appointment of Gujarat Lokayukta.
Meanwhile, the Rajya Sabha was again adjourned today as the BJP continued to raise the issue of the Gujarat Governor appointing Lokayukta without consulting the state government.
The BJP members took up the issue as soon as the house met for question hour. They trooped close to Chairman Hamid Ansari’s podium, forcing him to adjourn the house till 12 noon. When the house met again, it was adjourned till 2.00 pm.
Similarly Lok Sabha was adjourned till tomorrow.
