Planning to participate in Sabarmati Marathon 2011? All needed details are here

Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation has made some important announcements for those wanting to participate in Sabarmati marathon 2011.

Registration fee for full marathon(42.195 km) and half marathon(21.097 km) is Rs 400 while for dream run(7 km) it is Rs 200. Wheel chair run(5 km) and blind persons run(5) are open for free registration.

Sabarmati marathon 2011 winner in each ladies and gents category will win Rs 6 lakh while runner up winner will get Rs 4.25 lakh and third winner will get Rs 2.75 lakh prizes.

Online registration can be made between 27 November and 18 December on official website of Sabarmati marathon 2011 by paying online registration fees.

AMC’s all zone offices will accept registration form during same period between 11 am to 5 pm.

A toll free helpline no. 18002332330 has been created. It will start working from 28 November between 8 am to 8 pm.

AMC has organized three guiding camps from next week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 6.00 am. Such coaching camps can be joined by contacting following persons.

Practice run sessions have been organized on 4 December, 11 December and 18 December starting from Vallbh Sadan on Ashram road. To participate in practice run, one needs to contact Lihas Trivedi on 9825016601. Lihas has successfully participated in 100 km run in Singapore.
