-Gujarat Gas increased CNG gas price by Rs 3.65 per Kg. New rate is Rs 43.40 per Kg from today midnight.

-Smt Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani is camping in Chorwad for preparations of three day programme here starting from 25 December. According to sources saint Ramesh Oza will open later Shri Dhirubhai Ambani memorial house in Chorwad on 25th in presence of Shri Mukesh and Anil Ambani among others. Smruti Bhavan of late Shri Dhirubhai will exhibit his early life photographs with details. It will also have letters signed by late Shri Dhirubhai Ambani. A special helipad has been constructed on Gadu road for VIP guests that are going to arrive from Mumbai.

-A group of villagers led by local Congress leader blockaded Ahmedabad-Indore highway today morning demanding foot over bridge to cross the new proposed six lane highway here. Police came into action and traffic resumed within an hour.

– Police caught 100 kg Charas in Ahmedabad from a truck from Jammu.

-Gujarat Congress is unable to find venues for counter fast in Jamnagar and Junagadh. Modi is going to sit on Sadbhavana fast in Jamnagat tomorrow. Local Congress leader says his party would organize a rally. Junagadh Congress threatens to hold a rally on footpath. A Panchashakti exhibition will be held in Jamnagar on the sideline of Sadbhavna fast.

-Bhavnagar will witness a grand rally of decorated exhibits today to mark 100th birth anniversery of former ruler Maharaja Krushnakumarsinhji.Maharaja VIjayrajsinhji Gohil and Yuvraj Jayrajsinhji Gohil will flag off the march.

-Gandhidham based exporter has cheated Chinese importers by sending cheap palm oil in the name of castor oil. Chinese company has send a complain letter to Indian embassy in China.

-More than 120 musicians of territorial army will perform at Vadodara’s Navlakhi ground today evening to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaikwad.

-Health minister Jaynarayan Vyas today inaugurated Vadodara medical college hall which already hosted functions including a function of former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam in past.

-Shahid Rakesh Prajapati of Indian Army was today cremated in Unava village. Late Rakesh’s father Ishwarbhai said he would send Rakesh’s 7-year-old child to army too in future. Rakeshbhai was Radar operator in Indian Army and died on duty due to accident. Minister of state Shri Jaysinh Chauhan and district officials were present during martyr’s cremation.

-Border Security Force has arrested two Pakistanis from Kutch/Pakistan international border. Both are to be handed over to local police for further probe.

-Amid heavy stone pelting of Maldharis, the State Reserve Police(SRP) today fired a round in air at Rajkot’s Gondal road. SRP and Rajkot Municipal Corporation men were injured. One Bharwad man has been arrested.

-The central Gujarat town Kapadvanj honored town’s son US based Dineshbhai Shah, who donated Rs 50 lakh in education field in Kapadvanj. Local civic authority gave Dineshbhai’s name to one road connecting Desaivado area.
