Ahmedabad, 20 December 2011
Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation’s board meeting is boring otherwise, but look at these pictures of today’s meeting. The Congress Councillors are wearing helmets in the board meeting. Why?
Well, well, they are demanding proper security and CCTV camera surveillance in AMC board. They feel they are in danger while attending the AMC board meet.
Congress Councillors claim that their one lady Councillor was hit with bottle by ruling BJP Councillors in past meeting.
To oppose that act and to demand security and CCTV cameras they were wearing helmets today in a board meeting.
Congress has around two dozen Councillors in AMC board.
Enjoy the pictures, after all it was a picture opportunity for media and for protesting Councillors too. All major news organizations capture this camera event.
