Mukesh Ambani gets ‘Z’ category security cover

The Home Ministry has approved ‘Z’ category protection for Reliance Industry Limited RIL Chairman Mukesh Ambani.
Ambani will have pilot and follow-on vehicles with Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) commandos armed with sophisticated weapons.
Ambani had received threat letter from terror group Indian Mujahideen recently. After security and threat analysis, central security agencies recommended that Ambani should be given security cover. Accordingly Home Ministry issued the orders.
This is the first time that the CRPF would be providing VIP security to a private person outside Jammu Kashmir and Punjab.
