The 4th edition of ConneXion, the knowledge summit of PGPX, IIMA set to roll

The 4th edition of ConneXion, the knowledge summit of PGPX, IIMA set to roll IIMA, October 22, 2013: ConneXion 2013 will be hosted by IIMA’s Post Graduate Programme in Management for Executives (PGPX) from October 24, 2013 to October 26, 2013.

Prof. Ajay Pandey, Dean (Programmes), IIMA will inaugurate the event on October 25, 2013 at 9.30 a.m. at the IMDC Auditorium, IIMA New Campus. Dr. K. C. Chakrabarty, Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India, the keynote speaker will open the knowledge summit.

The theme for ConneXion 2013 is India InCubate: Idea to Action. The focus is on new ideas, businesses, skills and action plans for growth in the changing global economic environment. Students of IIMA’s PGPX 2013-14 batch organizing the event, believe that, “though the current economic flux poses a challenge to businesses worldwide, it is also an opportunity for Indian enterprises to carve a global position for themselves. This requires the support of focused policy initiatives, business processes of international standard and a global mindset.”

The panels, which form the core of the event, will start with a short presentation by a PGPX student, which will outlay the foundation of the discussion, followed by speaker discussion moderated by the designated Professor. The panel will culminate with Q&A from the audience. A PGPX alumni-meet, will be hosted on campus alongside Connexion. A panel discussion between CEOs and industries leaders, an elected member of legislature and PGPX alumni will be moderated by an IIMA Faculty. Prof. Piyush Kumar Sinha is the Faculty Advisor.
