Javed’s father files plea to include Shah,Kaushik as accused in Ishrat case

After receiving a copy of charge sheet and studying it, the father of Javed alias Pranesh Kumar, who was killed by Gujarat police in 2004 with Ishrat Jahan in encounter today filed plea in CBI court to include Amit Shah(then Minister of state for Home) and K R Kaushik(then Police Commissioner) as accused in this case. Court has issued notice to Shah and Kaushik. Hearing will take place on 26 March. NGO operator Mukul Sinha’s team is legally assisting Javed’s father in this case.
