Ahmedabad, 16 May, 2014
Following is full text of Rajya Sabha MP Shri Parimalbhai Nathwani’s statement on victory of BJP led by Narendra Modi:
The absolute victory in Lokshabha Polls 2014 of Mr. Narendra Modi and that of BJP is a phenomena seen after 30 years in the Indian democracy. Mr. Modi recorded his name in the history for becoming prime minister of India from Gujarat. He will put the nation on the fast-track development with his untiring endeavors, clarity of thoughts, deep-rooted commitment and farsighted vision.
Mr. Narendra Modi has proved himself as national leader and brought about the name and fame for himself from the world over. The expectations from the new government under his leadership will be the balanced growth and development across the country. The model of Gujarat will now be implemented as the model of India. The GDP growth, international image building, strength of the Indian Rupee, quick and bold decisions etc. are some of the expectations from him and his government at centre.
The focus of the new government now should be on efficient governance and building a strong nation through fast-track development in the area of industry, agriculture, infrastructure creation, employment generation and economic up-lifting of our people. The new BJP/NDA government at centre under Mr. Narendra Modi will fulfill people’s dreams and aspirations.
It is not unwise to expect a high economic growth with GDP moving towards double digit, revival of manufacturing sector, more investments and FDIs etc in days to come. Mr. Modi is now poised for bringing about the pride and glory to India which he brought about to Gujarat during his rule.
The Whole country is in a festive mood as the Indian parliamentary democracy ushers into the new era now.
