Top ten Service Tax contributors in Gujarat

The revenue collection of Service tax has fallen short by Rs. 2,384 crore as compared to the target of Rs. 6,940 crore for this year. The revenue through Service Tax till February 2015 has been Rs. 4,456 crore. Revenue collection from top 10 service providers comes to around Rs. 909 crore.

Top Service Providers(Service Tax contributors in Gujarat):

1. Adani Port and Special economic zone: Rs. 244 crore

2. Vodafone west ltd: Rs. 192 crore

3. Gujarat State Petronet ltd: Rs. 156 crore

4. JMC Projects(India) ltd: Rs. 82 crore

5. Reliance port and terminal ltd: Rs. 48 crore

6. Vadinar oil and terminal ltd: Rs. 47 crore

7. Larsen and Turbo Ltd: Rs. 46 crore

8. Mundra International Container Terminal Private ltd: Rs. 45 crore

9. Essar Oil ltd: Rs. 29 crore

10. CAO(CMTS), BSNL Ahmedabad Telecom District: Rs. 20 crore
