Gujarat Assembly passes bill giving University status to Parul

Gujarat Assembly today passed the Gujarat Private University 2nd Amendment Bill 2015 unopposed.

This bill gives private university status to Parul colleges in central Gujarat’s Vadodara district. Parul University will become the 17th private university recognized by Gujarat government.

Gujarat government has so far given private university status to 16 education institutions:

Amdavad University, Ahmedabad
Navrachna University, Vadodara
Calorx Teachers University, Ahmedabad
Charotar University of Science and Technology, Changa
Auro University of Hospitality and Management, Surat
Uka Tarsadia University, Bardoli
RK University, Rajkot
Institute of Advance Research, Gandhinagar
Indus University, Ahmedabad
Rai University, Ahmedabad
Lakulish Yog University, Ahmedabad
TeamLease Skills University, Tarsali,Vadodara
CU Shah University, Wadhwan
ITM-Vocational University, Ajwa, Vadodara
GSFC University, Vadodara
GLS University, Ahmedabad
Parul University, Vadodara
