Appointments of Judges in Gujarat High Court

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 217 of the Constitution of India, the President has appointed (i) Shri Justice Rajendra Dhirajlal Kothari and (ii) Shri Justice Abdullah Gulamahmed Uraizee, Additional Judges of the Gujarat High Court, to be a Judge of the Gujarat High Court with effect from the date they assume charge of their offices; and
In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of article 224 of the Constitution of India, the President has appointed (i) Shri Kaushal Jayendra Thaker and (ii) Shri Ratilal Parshottambhai Dholaria, to be Additional Judges of the Gujarat High Court, for a period of one year with effect from 03rd May 2015.
