RMC to give discount in tax if paid through website or mobile App

Rajkot Municipal Corporation(RMC) has announced discount of Rs. 50 for those who pay property tax online or through mobile application.
The decision intends to encourage saving of human hours, cut down the long queues, lesser traffic and fuel usage.
The RMC is going to launch online/application service for payment of property tax through credit/debit card and net banking facilities.
10% discount has been declared for advance tax payers while women will get additional 5% discount. Online/mobile application users will get additional benefit of Rs. 50.
