Aastha Spintex Mill commissioned at Halvad

Gujarat Chief Minister on Sunday attended inaugural ceremony of Jashubhai Patel led Aastha Spintex pvt ltd at Halvad.
Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama while speaking at the function described Aastha Spintex plant as ‘value addition plant’. He said this is third such plant in this belt. He said this belt has started growing jeera, and in that context the district should have value addition plant for jeera also.
A video presentation in this function by the company claimed, this is one of first plants commissioned after new textile policy introduced by Government of Gujarat. The company claimed it provides 95% employment to local villagers.
Speaking in this function, state Chief Minister said while prices of agriculture produce go down, value addition is only way out.
