Gujarat BJP organization likely to remain unchanged this year

Though nothing was officially declared about this during State executive meeting today in Gandhinagar, a clear hint was given.
After the completion of ongoing membership drive, there will be Maha Sampark Abhiyan(mass contact drive) to make bridges with new members. Later there will be workshops organized for active members(those who have registered over 100 members). This entire exercise will go beyond mid of this year. A big election season of panchayats, municipalities and municipal corporation polls is approaching in October this year.
The party is therefore likely to avoid any changes in the present organizational structure at least till the end of civic and panchayat polls. Party may continue present organization till January next year, and then go for appointments of new office bearers right from the post of state party president to district and mandal levels.
