11 top IAS officers transferred in Gujarat

Gujarat Government today announced transfer of 11 Indian Administrative Service(IAS) officers.

Additional Chief Secretary(ACS), Primary and Secondary Education Arvind Agrawal has been made ACS, Industries and Mines Department replacing Atanu Chakraborty. Arvind Agrawal will hold additional charge of ACS, Tourism, Devasthan Management, Pilgrimage and Civil Aviation.

Atanu Chakraborty, Principal Secretary(PS) Industries and Mines who also holds the additional charge of Managing Director(MD), Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation Ltd(GSPC) is transferred to GSPC as full-fledged MD.

On his repatriation to the state cadre, Sujit Gulati has been appointed as PS, Primary and Secondary Education replacing Arvind Agrawal.

Arunkumar Solanki, PS, Animal Husbandry, Cow Breeding, Fisheries and Cooperation who also holds additional charge of the post of PS, Agriculture and Cooperation department has been transferred to full-fledged PS of Agriculture and Cooperation department. ArunKumar Solanki will hold additional charge of PS Animal Husbandry, Cow Breeding, Fisheries and Cooperation.

PS, Finance(Economic Affairs) S.Aparna has been transferred and appointed as PS to Chief Minister replacing GC Murmu. Aparna will continue to hold the additional charge of the post of PS, General Administration Department(Planning) until further orders.

Settlement Commissioner and Director of Land Records, Manoj Aggarwal is transferred as MD, Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation(GMDC) relieving BB Swain of the additional charge of that post. Manoj Aggarwal will hold the additional charge of the post of Settlement Commissioner and Director of Land Records until further orders.

MD of Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Limited(TCGL) Sanjay Kaul who also holds additional charge of the post of MD, Gujarat Informatics Limited has been transferred as full-fledged MD of Gujarat Informatics Limited.

Thirupgazh, Commissioner of Rural Development and Secretary Rural Development, Panchayats, Rural Housing and Rural Development department has been transferred as Director General of Mahatma Gandhi Labour Institute, Ahmedabad relieving Sanjay Prasad of the additional charge of that post. Thirupgazh will hold additional charge of Commissioner of Rural Development and Secretary, Rural Development, Panchayats, Rural Housing and Rural Development until further orders.

Joint Managing Director, GSPC Manoja Kumar Das has been transferred as PS, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs relieving PK Taneja of the additional charge of that post.

Commissioner of Geology and Mining, T Natarajan has been transferred as Secretary, Finance Department(Economic Affairs) replacing Ms. S.Aparna. Natarajan will hold the additional charge of the post of Commissioner of Geology and Mining.

Secretary, Tourism Devasthan Management and Pilgrimage Sonal Mishra has been transferred as MD of Gujarat Industrial Power Company Limited, Vadodara relieving L Chuaungo of the additional charge of that post.

IFS officer appointed to Gujarat Tourism

N Shrivastav, CEO, Gujarat Medicinal Plants Board, Gandhinagar has been transferred as MD, Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd and Ex-officio COmmissioner of Tourism, Gandhinagar.
