Babu Bajrangi gets 90 days temporary bail for eyes treatment

Gujarat High Court today granted 90 days temporary bail to Babubhai Patel alias Babu Bajrangi, the convict in the 2002 Naroda Patia riot case, so that he could attend treatment for his eyes. Bajrangi had complained about vision loss problem.
Bajrangi was the main accused in the Naroda Patia riot case, in which 97 persons were killed on February 28, 2002. He was convicted by a special SIT court in 2012 to imprisonment till he lives. The court held 32 guilty of rioting and murder and awarded life imprisonment to all. The court also acquitted 29 persons.
