NA Construction case: 3 including Nilesh and Mukund Shah arrested

Crime Branch of Ahmedabad Police today arrested NA Construction case accused cheater builder Nilesh Shah, his father Mukundbhai Shah and Nilesh’s aid Ritesh Patel in Ahmedabad. Nilesh and Ritesh were held from Denis coffee bar behind Rajpath Club near SG Highway while Mukund Shah was living in a flat in Thaltej area on rent. Police has received over 75 complaints against NA Construction for taking booking amount and giving false promise of flat to hundreds of people. Flats were never constructed and booking amount was not returned. On April 20, around 500 victims protested against accused builder Nilesh Shah in front of Chandkheda police station. Under pressure of people and media persons, police had to register complaint. Due to inaction of Chandkheda police, the case was handed over to Crime Branch. The case was registered against builder Nilesh Shah, his father Mukesh Shah and his partner Ritesh Shah and manager Rupesh Shah. While Rupesh Shah surrendered before police, other accused were not traced. Complainants say, Nilesh Shah was collecting Rs. 11,000 as booking amount and Rs. 2.50 lakh as upfront money. 100s of people deposited this amount, but they neither got flat nor booking amount back, even after repeated attempts. Police investigation revealed that NA construction never bought a single bag of cement. Nilesh Shah’s residence and office were on rent. Nilesh was keeping multiple sim cards.
