Sand storm, rainfall in Ahmedabad

The city of Ahmedabad today again witnessed unseasonal shower. While some pockets of city experienced drizzle, some other pockets witnessed light shower.

After sunny morning and early afternoon, the city witnessed sudden change in atmosphere first with arrival of dark clouds and later with roaring sky and drizzle.

But the most distinct feature in today’s atmosphere was sand storm with strong winds that continued for over an hour.

There are reports of rainfall in areas like Dholka, Patan, Chanasma, Vatva and Savarkundla.
