Gujarat govt hikes salary of part time granted college teachers

Gujarat government has taken a decision to increase salary of non-government granted college part time teachers by 20%.
The decision will be implemented with effect of 1st March 2013.
Non government commerce, arts, science, law and Bed college teachers will get benefit of this hike.
Weekly 3-4 lecture used to fetch Rs 3900 per month until now, but now they will fetch Rs 4680. Similarly 5-7 lecture Rs 9360 instead of 7800 and 8-10 lectures Rs 14040 instead of Rs 11700. Over 260 part time teachers will get benefit of this decision.
