4,85,565 unsuccessful in Gujarat Board std 10th exam, 2,57,000 in std 12th!

Recently standard 12th Gujarat Board exam results were announced. In total around 2,57,000 students were declared unsuccessful(popularly called failed). Today Gujarat Board standard 10th exam results are out and 4,85,565 students are declared unsuccessful. Thus in total more than 7,40,000 students are declared unsuccessful in board exams this year. This is a huge number. It is equal to almost 15 Sardar Patel Motera stadiums at their full capacity.

The result of standard 10th is 54.42%. Among total 4,85,565 unsuccessful students, 4,70,920 are from Gujarati medium schools, 6,318 Hindi medium, 4947 English medium, 2981 Marathi medium, 329 Urdu, 46 Sindhi, 22 Tamil and 4 Udiya medium. Overall 61.53% girls and 50.17% boys are successful. It means half of the boys who appeared in 10th board exam this year are unsuccessful.

16,182 students have been unsuccessful in one subject while 57,084 in two subjects.

Ras in Anand district has offered highest result of 97.83% while Gothimb(Mahisagar district) has witnessed only 5.68% result. Junagadh district has offered highest 74.61% result while tribal Chhota Udepur has 20.16% result. Only 303 schools from across the state have offered 100% result.
