‘Kamalam’ busier with activities as local body polls just 3 months away

Gujarat BJP organization is extra active these days. The entire lot of activities is centered around state party headquarters Kamalam on Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar highway.

Today the Chief Minister attended state Mahila Morcha gathering at Kamalam. The state government had passed bill to make 50% local body seats reserved for women. Municipal Corporation, Panchayat and Municipality elections are scheduled to take place in last quarter of this year. The party will need big number of women candidates to field in these elections due to 50% women reservation. In this context today’s meeting of state Mahila Morcha was important.

The state party headquarters is also hosting the meetings of various morcha and cells. The party office today hosted a meeting of training cell and Schedule Tribe(tribal) morcha in presence of national vice president of party Dr Dinesh Sharma who is incharge of Gujarat BJP.

Tomorrow the party headquarters will host meeting of all Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha BJP MPs elected from Gujarat.

While upcoming local polls is main agenda behind this entire exercise, the other major issue of discussion is party’s Maha sampark abhiyan(mass contact drive) which is part of the membership drive and Sangathan Mahaparva(a process to build new body of organization).

All activities pertaining to party organization are supervised, planned and closely observed by state party general secretary(organization) Shri Bhikhubhai Dalsania who is key person so far as Gujarat BJP organization is concerned.
