Gujarat orders recall of Ching’s Schezwan noodles, Samples of Red Bull under test

Gujarat government has issued notification and instructed local health departments at district/city level to recall Ching’s Schezwan Chinese noodle packets.
State Health department had found MSG in samples of Ching’s noodle, following which orders were issued to recall its stock. Ching’s is manufactured in south Gujarat.
In another development, the state government has collected samples of Red Bull energy drink. Red Bull is highest sold and most popular energy drink across Gujarat. Recently Gujarat government had found 8-10% alcohol in U-Star energy drink, following which a decision was taken to test other energy drink products. Samples of Red Bull will go under test in public health laboratories for Alcohol and other content.
