216 teams working to restore power supply in flood-hit rural Amreli

As many as 216 teams of state run Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd(PGVCL) are active in flood-affected villages of Saurashtra region of Gujarat where power supply is not available after flood and heavy rains.
Total 239 villages of Amreli district had lost power supply, of which 188 villages were supplied power by yesterday evening. At present the works for restoration of power in 51 more villages are going on. They are likely to get power by midnight today.
