Water supply restored to 206 flood-hit villages of Amreli:GoG

According to Maheshsinh, member secretary of water supply board, government of Gujarat, water supply has been restored in 206 flood-affected villages of Amreli district.
He said 15 villages that lack power supply have been provided Diesel Generator sets. 10 villages among them have now water supply restored through these generators.
In total 67 tankers are in movement in 88 villages through 216 trips for water supply. Additionally 11 tankers and 30 water tanks are made available for eventual use.
Total 25 teams have been formed for survey of pipeline and machinery and activation of bore and pumping. Machinery has been changed in 4 villages for supply of pure water.
1313 samples of water have been taken for chemical and bacteriological test of water source.
