Petrol pump sealed in Gujarat for remote controlled tampering in dispensing units

Gadhada police today raided a petrol pump where tampering of fuel dispensing machine through remote control was detected. Police has sealed the petrol pump and booked two.

Alert customer Rajesh Parmar who used to visit this petrol pump for diesel for last four years had informed local police about tempering in fuel dispensing machines in this petrol pump.

The machines were reconfigured using remotes, software, electric circuits in a way that they would dispense less fuel and help owners to earn an additional income of thousands of Rupees per day. While meter would continue to roll, nozzle would not release petrol.

Police booked Kuldip Jagdish Khatki who is owner of the petrol pump along with a manager.

Police is in search of a person who installed this system.

Petrol pump has been sealed. Forensic Science experts had been called.
