Family drown due to high tide at beach near Surat

12 persons from Rajasthani family have drowned after being swept away by a high tide at Suvali Beach near Surat.

6 of them were rescued by some people. 1 was found dead.

Search for 5 others was on.

Helicopter has been deployed for effective and faster search.

The family had entered into the sea to spend time on bet. Due to high tide, bet got submerged.
