Inox Leisure takes over operations of two theatres in Gujarat

Inox Leisure Ltd, the second largest exhibition chain by screens, on Tuesday in its filing to BSE, said it has taken over operations of two theatres in Gujarat with three screens each in Gujarat for an undisclosed sum, with effect from 31 August.
With the latest acquisitions, Inox Leisure is now present in 54 cities with 99 multiplexes, 383 screens and 101,349 seats.
In its filing to BSE, Inox Leisure said it has taken over operations of Multiplex Cinema Theatre, near Adalaj, Gandhinagar Sarkhej Highway, which has three screens, and 1,308 seats.
In a separate filing, the company said it has taken over operations of Multiplex Cinema Theatre, located at Old Dharam Cinema Building, Kasturba Road at Rajkot, which has three screens and 612 seats.
